Private boats are only permitted with prior submission of valid dock insurance. Guests booking a house with us will receive a 10% discount code for a boat rental at boatrental-capecoral.com.
Electricity consumption: Electricity is not included and will be charged after departure at $0.15 per kWh. Costs depend on the season and the use of air conditioning and pool/spa heating. Average electricity costs for 2 4 guests can range from $50 $100 per week in summer and may be higher in winter due to increased heating needs.
BBQ Cleaning: Cleaning of the grill is not included in the cleaning fee. We ask you to clean the grill yourself after use. Cleaning by our cleaning team will be charged with an additional $50.
Pools and Spas: All pools and spas are heatable. Please note that, for organizational reasons, it is not possible to preheat the pool or spa prior to arrival. Depending on prior use, the pool may still retain some base or residual warmth from previous guests; however, this cannot be guaranteed. Please also note that even in Florida, winter temperatures may drop, which can cause pools to cool down overnight to varying degrees depending on their size. Therefore, consistently high water temperatures cannot be guaranteed at all times.
Cancelation fee: For cancellations made at least 60 days prior to the arrival date; 95% of the grand total will be refunded to the tenant. For cancellations made within 60 days of arrival, no refund will be issued.
Personal On-Site Check-In (Mandatory): For safety, insurance, and legal reasons, a personal on-site check-in on the day after arrival is mandatory. While initial access to the house is provided via code to allow flexible arrival times, we are required to personally verify that the guests present match the booking and to explain important house and safety information on site. The check-in takes place the day after arrival between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. The person who made the booking must be present and provide valid identification. This appointment is an essential part of ensuring a safe and compliant stay.
Pets: If a vacation home is listed as pet-friendly, guests may bring pets. The number of pets must be specified during the booking process. A pet fee of $25 per pet, per night applies. If a property is not designated as pet-friendly, pets are not permitted.
Service Animals: Legally recognized service animals are permitted, even in non-pet-friendly properties. However, guests are kindly asked to consider whether a non-pet-friendly property is ultimately suitable for their animal. HOUSERULES / FAQ
Boatlift: For insurance reasons, the use of the boat dock and boat lift (if available) is strictly limited to boats rented through Vacation in Florida Inc. Private boats are only permitted with prior submission of valid dock insurance. Guests booking a house with us will receive a 10% discount code for a boat rental at boatrental-capecoral.com.
Electricity consumption: Electricity is not included and will be charged after departure at $0.15 per kWh. Costs depend on the season and the use of air conditioning and pool/spa heating. Average electricity costs for 2 4 guests can range from $50 $100 per week in summer and may be higher in winter due to increased heating needs.
BBQ Cleaning: Cleaning of the grill is not included in the cleaning fee. We ask you to clean the grill yourself after use. Cleaning by our cleaning team will be charged with an additional $50.
Pools and Spas: All pools and spas are heatable. Please note that, for organizational reasons, it is not possible to preheat the pool or spa prior to arrival. Depending on prior use, the pool may still retain some base or residual warmth from previous guests; however, this cannot be guaranteed. Please also note that even in Florida, winter temperatures may drop, which can cause pools to cool down overnight to varying degrees depending on their size. Therefore, consistently high water temperatures cannot be guaranteed at all times.
Cancelation fee: For cancellations made at least 60 days prior to the arrival date; 95% of the grand total will be refunded to the tenant. For cancellations made within 60 days of arrival, no refund will be issued.
Personal On-Site Check-In (Mandatory): For safety, insurance, and legal reasons, a personal on-site check-in on the day after arrival is mandatory. While initial access to the house is provided via code to allow flexible arrival times, we are required to personally verify that the guests present match the booking and to explain important house and safety information on site. The check-in takes place the day after arrival between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. The person who made the booking must be present and provide valid identification. This appointment is an essential part of ensuring a safe and compliant stay.
Pets: If a vacation home is listed as pet-friendly, guests may bring pets. The number of pets must be specified during the booking process. A pet fee of $25 per pet, per night applies. If a property is not designated as pet-friendly, pets are not permitted.
Service Animals: Legally recognized service animals are permitted, even in non-pet-friendly properties. However, guests are kindly asked to consider whether a non-pet-friendly property is ultimately suitable for their animal. Service animals do not need to be added during the booking process and are not subject to pet fees.
Emotional Support Animals: Are permitted only for long-term rentals (+30 days) and subject to applicable federal and Florida regulations. Written documentation must be provided prior to booking for verification purposes.
Standard occupancy/overnight guests: Our prices are calculated based on 4 people. Each additional person will be charged $25 plus fees/taxes per night. If you specify more than 4 people at the time of booking, this fee will be taken into account. If the number of people increases after booking or if you receive overnight guests (even for only a few days), you are obliged to register them and pay the fee.
